Brandon Sousa is an avid traveller with over 50 countries stamped in his passport from Europe, Asia and the Americas. He previously wrote primarily for Horizon Travel Magazine and InsideToronto.com sharing his experiences and stories of various destinations around the globe. In March 2015, Brandon was accredited by the Travel Writers' Network for his writings and social media influence in the world of travel. In 2014, InsideToronto.com ranked his blog 'Hashtag AirBuds' as one of their Top Blogs at the publication.

​In October 2014, Brandon was accepted to Mercury Himalayan Explorations' Blogger-in-Residence program in Northern India. At the end of 2014 and beginning of 2015, he experienced life as an expatriate living in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Luang Prabang, Laos working for Ock Pop Tok. Travel is a part of Brandon's passion and continues to pursue opportunities that bring together his skills of writing and his sense of adventure.
